Protocols - Cleaning and Sanitisation

Cleaning & Sanitisation

We have increased the cleaning and sanitisation frequency of high-touch surfaces and high-traffic guest areas such as Reception, Conference Facilities, Restaurant and Restrooms, as well as in our Spa. Our team makes use of hospital-grade disinfectants when sanitising surfaces. We have also implemented enhanced cleaning protocols for guest rooms, and as such, have removed all decorative items from the rooms. Guests can minimise exposure to outsiders after arrival, by waiving daily housekeeping.

Protocols - Temperature

Temperature & Wellbeing Checks

Mnarani Club checks the temperature of all staff and guests upon arrival at the hotel. We conduct COVID-19 screening protocols based on local government requirements. Staff who report any cold or flu-like symptoms will not come to work. Any guest or staff member with a temperature of 37.5°C (99.5°F) or higher, and has, or shows, symptoms of the virus, is prohibited from entering the premises and will be referred to a medical facility immediately.

Protocols - Hand Hygiene

Hand Hygiene & Social Distancing

Good hand hygiene is one of the most important steps we can take to protect ourselves against the virus. Throughout the hotel, we have placed hand-washing reminders and sanitising stations. Social distancing is encouraged at hotel public areas. We have also placed protective shields at the front desk.

Protocols - Masks and Gloves

Masks & Gloves

According to local government requirements and practices, guests must wear a face mask while in public areas. Our team wear face masks and additional personal protective equipment based on their job specifications, at all times. The Mnarani staff understand the importance of wearing the appropriate protective gear and take additional safety precautions for guests and each other.

Protocols - Food Safety

Food Safety Protocols

Our team have implemented precautionary measures, from food preparation, set-up and service, to enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols for the Restaurant, Room Service, group meetings and events. Our team frequently disinfect all Kitchen surfaces and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment while preparing and plating made-to-order dishes.

We trust the above information will put your mind at ease as you start planning your next Mnarani getaway.

We look forward to welcoming you to Mnarani in the near future.

Best regards,
Henk and Elma Venter
The Mnarani Management Team
